About IQAC

Quality enhancement is a continuous and dynamic process. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Christ College was established in 2026 with the objective of developing a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution. The IQAC functions as an integral part of the college system and works towards the realization of quality enhancement and sustenance in academic and administrative activities.

The IQAC of the college meets regularly to plan, monitor, and evaluate various institutional activities and initiatives. The cell focuses on promoting quality culture and ensuring excellence in all aspects of higher education.

Major Functions & Responsibilities

  • Ensuring timely, efficient, and progressive performance of academic, administrative, and financial activities.
  • Promoting the relevance and quality of academic and research programmes.
  • Ensuring equitable access to and affordability of academic programmes for all sections of society.
  • Encouraging the optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning.
  • Monitoring the credibility and transparency of evaluation procedures.
  • Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance, and proper functioning of support structures and services.
  • Promoting research culture, collaboration, networking, and sharing of knowledge with institutions in India and abroad.
  • Organizing quality enhancement programmes, workshops, seminars, and faculty development initiatives.
  • Encouraging student participation and feedback mechanisms for institutional improvement.
