Admission Criteria

Admission is open to all on a first come first serve cum merit basis. We are enthusiastic in admitting students from diverse cultural social, economic, ethnic, and geographical backgrounds.

Criteria for Admission: 

• Students who have passed plus 2(10+2)in their respective stream or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board in India or abroad which is considered as equivalent by the North Eastern Hill University      (NEHU) shall be  eligible for admission into the  first semester of  four years Honours Degree Course.
• Students who have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from any stream from a recognised Board in India/Abroad have the option to change to Arts stream.
• A Student who has appeared for the qualifying examination (10+2) level and is awaiting the results, is also eligible to apply for admission in different courses, subject to fulfillment of criteria.
•  Application form, complete in all respects along with relevant document(s), Mark sheet(s),Certificate(s) etc   should be submitted to the office of CHRIST COLLEGE, Umeit, Ri-Bhoi District, Shillong-793103, Meghalaya State, within a week after the receipt of Mark sheet(s) of Class 12th Standard or equivalent Examination.
• Incomplete applications received after the last date will not be entertained.
• Any student providing incorrect, false or misleading information in the application form shall forfeit his /her admission to the College.
• There will be a personal interview for the shortlisted candidates.
