Christ College established in 2022, a Minority Institution of the Carmelite Sisters of St.Teresa (CSST), by the Trust for the Advancement of Philosophy for Children-India (TAPC) is affiliated to the North East Hill University (NEHU),sanctioned by the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Meghalaya, and approved by the Archdiocese of Shillong to meet the needs of the people of North East India particularly of Meghalaya. We also aspire to extent our services globally.
Imbued by the spirit of our Foundress, the Servant of God Mother Teresa of St.Rose of Lima, we are committed to the cause of higher learning of youth and their empowerment through excellence in teaching, learning and research.

Christ College, Meghalaya, is owned and administered by the Carmelite Sisters of St Teresa (CSST). It is inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ the light of the World whose values are Love, Peace, Equality, Joy, and Service.  It aims at enlightening the young women of the locality, Meghalaya and the entire North East.
